The Woman's Mind.

A man can do what a man can do, a woman can do what a woman can do. So that some wives will not think they are equal with their husbands. We are to submit to our husbands, and our husband should love us. That is what God says. I concur. Men are to lead in decision making in their homes, they should be respected and served by their wives. They are the captain of the home, and are to navigate in any direction they feel correct.(the good ones will consult/compromise with their wives) Wives should understand the position of the men as head of the family and not try to usurp power from them, but go through other 'womanly' means possible to sway their minds.

I decided to change my hairdo this past weekend, probably just "relax" my hair! So that evening on friday, I got to the market and bought this hair relaxer, amongst other things. I got home and alas! I couldn't find the relaxer anywhere. I searched my hand bag, and emptied the nylon bags. Nothing. I became disturbed, all the anticipation of having a new look made me feel bad about the loss of that relaxer and I kept thinking about it that Friday. The money I had on me was just enough to pay the saloon, and for Sunday service. I decided to go to the ATM on Sunday. (Though I hated the stress of finding the nearest ATM while I am home). I actually did after morning service. It was about past 9am when I started looking around for where to buy another relaxer and then 'relax' my hair, I walked through the streets almost 3times, (back and forth). When I place my palm on my left chest, I feel my heart beats, the heart doesn't stop beating as long as we are alive, it only stops when we die. Funny, We could be alive and still feel our heart no longer beats. This is when we feel that we have nothing to look forward to. We all need reasons to live, this unknown to us is really important, because when we no longer find any reason to keep living we enter a critical state, some people in this state take their lives. Normally, when I wake every morning, I see a reason to go through the day, then I will be motivated to prepare and start off my day. In my life it had been chasing one academic qualifications or the other, also my love for family and dear friends and the thought of having them around,and then also because I look forward to something, (nice things, anything) happening in my nearest future. It is not a waste of money to take your children through standard schools, especially primary and secondary school. Their ways of reasoning and speaking, are mainly affected by their interaction and training in these periods of their lives. It is not a bad idea for your child to attend boarding schools also, especially those schools that have high level of discipline and care. Boarding school makes them to have stronger personalities, to be independent-decision-makers. And give them focus, and a sense of purpose. It has it disadvantages also, which might be that the child may join bad companies. However the chance of a well trained Godly child to escape from bad company, is high. I didn't consider it. Being bullied may be another disadvantage, but this one could act to make the child stronger and to device means to overcome the act of being bullied. 30 days and counting we ceased to have electricity in our city, this is Africa, this situation isn't strange. Then, I had read in the news where the Electrical Engineers stated that it may last this long. I had to stay in this state of black-out for that long. Few days ago, thankfully it was on a weekend, our precious electricity was restored, the room, the kitchen, everywhere lited up. All my mind kept telling me was, I survived, wow, I survived. During those period of darkness, I had to take my few essential electrically rechargeables to charge at work, then, I would plug my power bank at my landlord's house in the night time till 11pm, after using it to recharge my phone, the phone which I had succeeded in 'browsing' away its battery. I had to take a bike home tonight, normal 50naira bike cos its close to home. But the Two "bikes" I saw said 100naira, the normal Nigerian bike men taking advantage of the night time. I said #70, the first said #80 and left, the second said #100 last!, all my body said chinelo enter and gerrout of here why do you like pricing too much!
