DEAR AFRICA, MARRIAGE IS NOT A DESTINATION FOR WOMEN, BUT A JOURNEY!

Dear Africa, unlike you think Marriage is not a destination, for women, it is a journey. A woman is a compete human, she does not live only to be a wife. Unfortunately it is the belief in most parts of Africa that a woman is not complete until she is married by a man. Completion is gotten from fulfilling your God's given purpose on earth. Doing things to bless the earth, to make the world a comfortable place to live in, to help lives, to alleviate suffering, to inspire, to heal, to revive people's tired soul. To fight against injustice and wickedness and to bring joy and happiness. These are a few things that brings fulfillment and completion. Getting married to a man and producing children is an extra completion. So dear ladies, continue to be useful in life and stop waiting to be married before you start your life. Stop allowing other people's lives disturb your life. Parents stop putting pressure on your female children to find husband or accept every kind ...

DEAR AFRICAN WOMEN, MAKING MONEY IS NOT GENDER SENSITIVE!

Making Money is not gender sensitive, neither is going to school, learning a craft or furthering your Education. A "girl" living in Africa can make money too. Until ladies understand this, violence against women by men and other relations will continue to rise. Ladies will continue to submit themselves to physical and mental torture and heart break so that they can have a roof over their head. Gone are those primitive days where, women await their bride price to be paid so as to be relevant, and they have no property to their name. In those days, the society expect a man to pay for the whole existence of a woman. That was why it was easy for men to refer to a woman then, as a property. Now women do fight against it. So any lady who fights against being called a property, should be ready to work and make her own money no matter how little. She should have a bank account and save up money made by her, she should buy valuable properties of her own, with money made by ...

In Omawumi's Voice, "THIS KIND LOVE O NA SERIOUS LOVE NWANTINTI".

Some youths go around with the wrong notion that love is everything. Which is false. So they drop common sense and throw caution to the wind, when it comes to dealing with the person they think they are in love with. (Especially students in tertiary institutions) Some go as far as disrespecting their parents, quarreling and fighting with their siblings and friends because of that person. They don't care to know if there is truth in what everyone is saying. Love and Common sense are not mutually exclusive, it is childish to think they are. Life is not a fairy tale with snow white where the prince kisses the princess and she wakes, they get married and lived happily ever after, nor is it beauty and the beast, where she kisses the beast and he transforms into a handsome prince and they LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER. In real life the beast, remains the beast. How many people fall in love since they came to earth, why did they not live happily ever after with the first.(except for...

HAVING A FAMILY, AND LOTS OF GENERATION AFTER, IS A BEAUTIFUL GOAL: SAY NO TO DIVORCE!

The Court said "you chased her away"?. The young well dressed man said, "I did not chase her away, she left on her own!" The sweet english accented young lady said "he chased me away". Court asked, "will you like to go back" and she said "No. You told me to think about it, and return, I have". This was the second divorce trial, I was unfortunate to witness today. The story is, these beautiful couple had live for nine years, had two kids, and have lived separately from each other since a year now. They seem to want it official. The court sent them home, said the lady must return with a relative,(those who drank and ate on her wedding day) that we aren't white people. The reasons that lead to divorce are unimaginable, but lemme focus on one. From the first couple today, and the one I witnessed last week, I perceived from their story that their families played major roles in starting off their quarrel. Both stories linked to paren...

VIRTUOUS WOMAN SERIES! SHE FINDS WOOL AND FLAX AND BUSILY SPINS IT! Proverbs 31vs 13.

Wool, flax, and cotton are types of natural fibres which by spinning, can be turned into yarn or thread, and then be woven into textiles, which our clothes are made from, including towel, handkerchiefs, bedsheets, baskets, shoes, carpeting, window shades, etc. After unusual hours of research, I concluded that, Spinning wool into yarn and flax into linen yarn requires special skills, discipline, creativity and care. And King Solomon was really thinking of a SUPER CREATIVE WOMAN. The virtuous woman referred to in the book of Proverbs 31 was explained to have the ability to go in search of wool which is gotten majorly from sheep, and spinning the wool into yarn. The popular thread use in sewing on machine or by hand is a kind of yarn gotten from the wool, also, the yarn from the wool can be woven into sweaters, suits, blankets, shoes, rugs, shirts, ties, dresses, etc, which can be worn during cold weather or warm weather, depending on the weight to which it was woven. The Bible also...

WE ARE ALL UNIQUE: ALL OF US!

You may compare your life to that of others and wish you had what they have, or you are at the level they have gotten to. You end up feeling envious, you see your self getting disturbed by their success. This attitude harms only you, cos it steals your joy, and without joy in a person's life, life is worthless. Instead of getting disturbed by people's progress, get inspired, learn and get better, and progress. That is what good people do. They rejoice with those people who are rejoicing(Romans 2vs15) that's what the bible says should be our reaction. Also, when your neighbour have got goodnews, share in his feeling, cos it shows goodnews is in your neighbourhood and it will soon knock on your door. More so, how dare your think the next person is better off, we are all unique in our own ways, there is always something to admire in the next person, even you. Nobody owns it all, some people have money but they don't have good health, some have beauty but lack br...

VIRTUOUS WOMAN SERIES! HER HUSBAND CAN TRUST HER, AND SHE WILL GREATLY ENRICH HIS LIFE. Proverbs31vs11.

A biblical description of a virtuous woman is that woman who greatly enriches her husband's life.proverb 31vs11. As she steps into his life, his value continues to increase. She adds in all ways to him. She brings forth children who are well breded thereby multiplying his name and producing replicas of both of them, she helps to increase his wealth and contribute in managing same. She does this by consciously engaging in businesses that yield profit and income so as to assist in the wellbeing and upkeep of the family, she also ensure that there is no waste of family resources by herself, her children and even her husband. This is because her nature is that which add value to her husband's life. A virtuous woman sees to the increase of her husband's skills and capabilities. She encourages him and makes sure he continues to improve mentally, to keep up and stay relevant to the changing society. She encourages him to live up to his God given potentials and fulfill his purp...

A FARMER WHO WAITS FOR A PERFECT WEATHER NEVER SOWS!

Stop complaining about what you do not possess, focus on what you have. Take a good look at yourself, what do you have?  that is all you need to do exploit on earth, when Moses of the Bible got to the red sea and needed to cross it, all he needed was what was in his hand.(Exodus 14vs16). When same Moses was being sent to save the Israelites and he was afraid, the Lord asked him, what is in your hand (Exodus 4vs2). Every thing we have is given to us to make the best results. God understands each and everyone of us and our capacity to succeed differently. This is why some are tall, some are short, some are fast, some are slow, some intellectually sound, some care free and simple. Some very beautiful, some, not all that. Nobody has it all, but everybody possess something that makes them unique and if they focus keenly, they could be a wonder to this generation. My friend reading this, what is in your hands? That is all you need to be all you want to be, so start exploring...

THE IDEA OF A ROLE MODEL PartI

While growing up, there was this woman in our local church, she was full of wisdom and she possessed an amazing comportment, I wanted to be like her. Infact I started copying the way she walked, the way she speaks, even her dance steps. She was a "role model" to me, though I later understood she was a bit full of herself, and I couldn't copy that. When a person is a role model, it means the person is one you find worthy to copy, the person is an example of how you want to be, it could be generally or in a specific area of your life. A mentor on the other hand is a wise and trusted teacher, whose advice and opinions you listen to and live by. Who you frequently go to for his or her opinion or advise on a personal experience you presently face. And you tend to trust their judgment and live by it. Now think about that person who constantly advise you and you try to obey, or think about that person that you usually try to copy in your dressing or way of speaking and a...

THE IDEA OF A ROLE MODEL. Part II

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT TAKING ADVICE OR COPYING A PERSON'S WAYS. 2.CHOOSE THEM WISELY. For every place you want to get to, there are people already there, it is a wise choice to heed to the words of these set of people, you may have the opportunity to interact with them, or you may see a book or two about or written by them. It is quite helpful to go through them. Remember not to forget that they are only humans and therefore cannot be 100% correct. But interacting with a person that is already where you aspire to be is a step toward the right direction. However, some of these people could be negatively minded and self-centered. They see you as a threat, and do not desire that you do better than them. These persons may end up turning around to be a source of discouragement and deliberately aiming to distract you from your chosen goal, so don't just instantly take any advice you hear, the Bible in Proverbs 14vs15 says, "KJV:The simple believeth every word: but t...
