DEAR AFRICAN WOMEN, MAKING MONEY IS NOT GENDER SENSITIVE!

Making Money is not gender sensitive, neither is going to school, learning a craft or furthering your Education. A "girl" living in Africa can make money too. Until ladies understand this, violence against women by men and other relations will continue to rise. Ladies will continue to submit themselves to physical and mental torture and heart break so that they can have a roof over their head. Gone are those primitive days where, women await their bride price to be paid so as to be relevant, and they have no property to their name. In those days, the society expect a man to pay for the whole existence of a woman. That was why it was easy for men to refer to a woman then, as a property. Now women do fight against it. So any lady who fights against being called a property, should be ready to work and make her own money no matter how little. She should have a bank account and save up money made by her, she should buy valuable properties of her own, with money made by her, including cars and houses. Do not be afraid to put yourself out there and face the realities of life. Money comes to those who choose to work for it and believe it will come, it is not always easy especially when you decide to do the right thing. Then you have to be contented and live within your means. It is greed that makes most ladies look for men who have already made money and feed on that, (except it comes to you and it is genuine) and refuse to patiently make money by themselves and live within it. It is also the foolish desire to 'feel among', that makes a lady with an empty account to buy a 20,000naira bag, when she do not have any valuable belonging in her name. Let the women of Africa begin to go out there and earn a living and put a roof over their head no matter how hard it is, and stop sitting lazily on their ass, waiting for one man some where to come along so as to provide food for them. Making money is not gender sensitive!
