FEELING LESS!

Have you ever felt extremely unacceptable? Out of place? Inappropriate? Not just doing it right? Not good enough? Because someone said so? Because of what a group of people said? because of what a family member said? or a family friend? Or maybe you just have this feeling in your head that you are not liked very much? That people prefer your friends to you? Or your siblings better? Or you just know that your parents prefer your less. You feel unpopular?

Hear this;

1. NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL INFRIOR WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.

This is one of the most wisest saying ever made.It is only you that can grant people the permission to make you feel less of yourself, even the bible tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in the sight of our creator, and we were made in God's image and likeness, so why doing him a discredit by doubting the perfection of his creatures, that is you!

2. NO ONE IS PERFECT.

I recently stumbled on a passage of the Scripture.Ecclesiates 7vs20, its says; "there is no one on earth who does what is right all the time and never makes a mistakes" (Goodnews version). That kept me pondering and I did a mental search, highlighting all the people who I think should be perfect on earth, and placing them side by side this scripture, off course the scripture cannot be faulted. You do same.

3. YOUR MISTAKES ARE YOUR MOTIVATION.

We are to keep learning in life. We learn something new everyday. A wise person once said that "the day you stop learning, you start dying" we cannot learn when we do not have anything we are not good at,inversely, we learn because we are not perfect. So when you find yourself lacking in any area, do not hesitate to see it as an opportunity to learn a thing or two in order to improve yourselve.Do not run away from criticism, instead, make the best of it . Jump at every opportunity to improve yourselves.

4. EVERYONE HAS THEIR SHORTCOMINGS.

Never feel down because of what someone thinks about you. People always talk, whether you get it right or not. Always remember that they also have their shortcomings, because they have aided you so graciously in identifying yours does not give them an A in their life style,so to feel a little better, take a pause and silently analyse the lives of these persons, those whose criticism tend to make you feel less of yourself, may be the ones with the less better lives, a more mature person corrects another with tender love and care, and watches to make sure he does more good than harm, and not otherwise.

So the next time you feel down because of other people's perception of you, remember these.

Its your turn,what else should we remember? !

DO NOT BE GUITY OF FAILED PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY!

It is not a waste of money to take your children through standard schools, especially primary and secondary school. Their ways of reasoning and speaking, are mainly affected by their interaction and training in these periods of their lives. It is not a bad idea for your child to attend boarding schools also, especially those schools that have high level of discipline and care. Boarding school makes them to have stronger personalities, to be independent-decision-makers. And give them focus, and a sense of purpose. It has it disadvantages also, which might be that the child may join bad companies. However the chance of a well trained Godly child to escape from bad company, is high. I didn't consider it. Being bullied may be another disadvantage, but this one could act to make the child stronger and to device means to overcome the act of being bullied. The burden to inculcate good virtues, beliefs and values into them, is solely on the parents. Which should be done daily and inten...

CALM DOWN,BAD SITUATIONS DO CHANGE! PATIENTLY WAIT FOR IT.

30 days and counting we ceased to have electricity in our city, this is Africa, this situation isn't strange. Then, I had read in the news where the Electrical Engineers stated that it may last this long. I had to stay in this state of black-out for that long. Few days ago, thankfully it was on a weekend, our precious electricity was restored, the room, the kitchen, everywhere lited up. All my mind kept telling me was, I survived, wow, I survived. Yea, truly I'd survived. During those period of darkness, I had to take my few essential electrically rechargeables to charge at work, then, I would plug my power bank at my landlord's house in the night time till 11pm, after using it to recharge my phone, the phone which I had succeeded in 'browsing' away its battery. The life without electricity was a little bit tiring at the beginning, but overtime, I got accustomed to it, it became a routine. I smoothly glided through like a new way of life. Then I was lying pea...
