Growing up, I knew certain girls who found the art of getting financial gifts, gift of food item, and various sorts of physical gifts from guys as an accomplishment.They ignorantly felt the so called 'skill' of manipulating a man and carting away petty things was an enviable art that other girl needed to learn from them. They called it "eating Office" or something of that sort.

In my ignorance, just as theirs, I admired them, and I felt I was lacking in this "vital" area, as these girls seemed to be gaining from this art of "officing" guys. I however had a not so good feeling about it then, I felt it was embrassing to make unnecessary demands from a guy at that stage of a girl's life, I just couldn't bring myself to "play" that sort of play, and I felt contended, and not in dire need of any extra change from any guy,who may even be getting this money from his parents.

At this my age and stage I have ofcourse formed an opinion on this.It does not tell good of a woman to constantly leech on the finance of a man consistently, making unnecessary, unimportant financial demands, even for things you can not be caught dead buying with your own hard earned money.Some ladies will go as far as asking an average guy striving to survive and build a comfortable family, for half a million and more for hair, clothes, bags and shoes. I wouldn't have a problem if the guy has such  money and he doesn't mind you asking. However, my mind tells me this is ridiculous. There are a lot of better ways to invest and benefit from such an amount of money.

There are some ladies who are very lazy to do any reasonable work to earn a living, even being married is not enough to be lazy to work, Men appreciate women who contribute financially to the family, it will be shameful to keep telling your children,"go and meet your daddy" even for biscuits! I encourage every woman to find a means of making money so that they do not depend totally on their spouses,cos no matter how hot the romance, money issue is serious talk, nobody likes to be cheated or to kill himself working for your 100% needs, even the guy wouldn't know when he would start acting like he owns your life, and can take it at anytime.

Even the Bible had this to say, "if anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat!

CALM DOWN,BAD SITUATIONS DO CHANGE! PATIENTLY WAIT FOR IT.

30 days and counting we ceased to have electricity in our city, this is Africa, this situation isn't strange. Then, I had read in the news where the Electrical Engineers stated that it may last this long. I had to stay in this state of black-out for that long.
