IS IT WRONG FOR A WIFE TO SOLELY BUILD A HOUSE, DURING HER MARRIAGE?

A separate Bank Account is best for married couples, though, even with separate accounts, there still should be a high level of transparency. Marriage is a partnership, love, respect and trust should be the constitution, amongst other things. When a man divorces his wife stating financial secrecy as a major ground, it is then a serious issue. His wife even built a house without his clue, he may have felt cheated and "duped". It depends though if he had been putting his resources in higher portion, for her and his children wellbeing. The woman agreed in court that she even started her husband's kind of business, amongst which was, giving out vehicle for hire purchase. However,her husband was not happy about that, I really do not know what was wrong with that. Bottom line is, couples should take their financial discussion and plans more seriously. Granting the husband’s request, the court President, Mr Awos Awosola, said that the effort of the court to reconcile the parties had failed, as Amunikoro insisted on divorce.
